Kim Graff is a freelance editor, writer, and a graduate of the University of Denver’s Publishing Institute.
When she’s not editing, she’s an author represented by Carrie Pestritto of Prospect Agency and currently works at the publishing trade association, Book Industry Study Group. BISG’s mission is to facilitate innovation within the publishing industry, which allows her to work closely with Hachette Book Group, Penguin RandomHouse, Macmillan, and other publishing powerhouses. Formerly, she worked as a literary agent intern at Red Sofa Literary Agency, D4EO Literary Agency and P.S. Literary Agency, as well as a personal assistant to the best-selling author Gennifer Albin, and a book blogger.
Her work inside the publishing industry allows her to give a more in-depth critique than most freelance editors by focusing on what works in the marketplace and what doesn’t (and what’s working right now too).
