Founder & Editor
Kim is the founder of The Write Service. She has worked in the publishing industry for almost a decade now. She has worked at three different literary agencies, a university press, and as a book blogger and editor. Kim has been doing freelance editorial work since 2011 and is a University of Denver Publishing Institute graduate.
She is also a YA & MG author represented by Carrie Pestritto of Prospect Agency.

Ashley Leath is a California girl now living in the Deep South with her husband, diva cat, and ever-hungry Labrador. She has two main passions—words and food—and fills her days working with both.
Ashley spent her childhood buried in books, nurtured a love for words and editing while at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and Carnegie Mellon, and worked as Senior Recipe Editor and Travel & Food Copy Editor at Southern Living magazine. She is currently a food editor, a freelance copy editor and recipe editor, and a writer of young adult fiction.
Megan Lally, Editor
Megan Lally is an editor and author represented by Mandy Hubbard at Emerald City Literary Agency. She is also the creator of the #CpMatch events on Twitter where authors pitch their books and help them find critique partners.
She has been writing and critiquing for five years, and she is also a Pitch Wars mentor. One of her 2015 mentees signed with an agent two weeks after the contest ended.
Courtney Gilfillian, Editor
Amy Trueblood, Editor
A devotee of reading and writing from a very young age, Amy Trueblood grew up surrounded by books. After stints working in entertainment and advertising, she began writing her first manuscript and has never looked back. Today, she writes both Young Adult fiction and Contemporary Romance. Her published work has appeared in The Fall and Summer’s Edge short story collections as well as Pen & Muses’ first Dark Carnival collection. Timon Skees, Editor
Timon is a semi-reclusive writer who writes horror, dark fantasy, and other weird things. He has a reputation for being an incisive critic that doesn’t miss a mistake and knows how to fix them. He loves helping other writers find their voice and write the book they’ve always wanted.
